leaf="">说它是耗电大王，那是一点都不夸张的。这个电炉最重要的地方就是里面的镍铬合金电炉丝，一旦通了电，炉丝会很快变热，然后炉丝就会变红，最高温度可以有几百度。它的功率有1000W-2000W，甚至有一些工业的款可以达到3000W，当时在90年代我们很多家庭的冰箱的功率也是100多瓦而已，电风扇也只有几十瓦，一个电炉的耗电量相当于同时开了10台冰箱，也的确是很夸张的，难怪老人家总是说开了电炉就像烧钱一样。</span></p><p><span leaf="">虽然说当年的电价比现在低很多，但是当时大家的收入水平是有限的，一度电的花费对普通家庭来说就已经不算是小数了，然而，电炉的热效率不是很高，大量的热量会直接散发到空气当中，烧一壶开水就要用十几分钟了，煮一顿饭就更加耗电了，一个月下来，如果只是使用电炉，这个电费就直接占了整个家庭总电费的一半了，基本上不少家庭为了省电，只能规定非必要不开电炉，只有冬天需要取暖、或者来客人的时候需要烧水的时候才舍得用。</span></p><p><section leaf="">虽然说电炉很耗电，但是圆盘式电炉在当时仍然是比较热门的家电，每天早晨，妈妈会把铝壶放在炉盘上，通电之后没过多久就传来咕嘟咕嘟的水声了，全家的洗漱、泡茶就全靠它了，冬天没有暖气的家庭，都会围着电炉来取暖，小孩还会偷偷把红薯、花生放在炉盘周围的灰烬里面，等着烤零食，在一些小店铺里面，它会被用来加热胶水、融化金属等等，甚至有些比较节俭的家庭，也会用它来代替煤气灶，煮面条、炖菜，虽然耗的时间比较久，但是胜在操作简单、不需要换气。</span></p><p><span leaf="">不过在用的时候也是需要注意的，要先把电炉放在平整的水泥地或木板上面，需要远离窗帘、纸箱等等那些燃物，炉丝发红的时候是绝对不能用手去碰的，也不能在上面溅上冷水，否则会瞬间地炸裂，调温旋钮也分了几档，高温档是用来烧水、取暖的，低温档就是用来保温的，用完之后必须拔下插头，还要等炉盘完全冷了之后再清理上面的灰尘和食物的残渣。</span></p><p><section
